ROYAL HASKONING APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORT - 22nd October, 2009

Royal Haskoning today announces the appointment of Paul Hanafin as Director of its Transport Business Group, Denis Wilson. In this role, Paul will work to maintain the company’s position as one of the leading specialist consultancies in transport planning, design and infrastructure.

Paul began his career over 30 years ago. His experience covers traffic, highways and transportation planning, in both private and public sectors – more specifically in residential, retail, leisure and commercial developments both in the UK and overseas.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “I look forward to ensuring that Denis Wilson remains at the forefront of the transport debate, providing our clients with transport solutions that are modern, accessible and sustainable."

In addition to his work at Denis Wilson Paul is also a Member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Transport and Logistics and Member of the Transport Planning Society.

This appointment follows Graham Bignell’s move to a strategic corporate role within Royal Haskoning, where he will be responsible for developing commercial markets within the Development & Transport division.
